Day 13
Today we planned to go to the orphanage in the afternoon, so we spent the morning cleaning up the villa. We did stuff like raking the leaves, cleaning the pool, cleaning the bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping the floors, etc.
A bit like spring cleaning.
The weather took a turn for the better since the first week, so most of us were either swimming or tanning.
Went to lunch with Don after that, only the two of us since we were the only ones who wanted to check out what other food the blue restaurant had.
Biking to blue restaurant by the roadside
Restaurant is near the main road
The restaurant doesn't really have a name, so we just called it the blue restaurant.

Janya left her daughter Sita with us, so we brought her to the orphanage too. She goes to the same kindergarten as the other kids from the orphanage so she is friends with most of the kids there.

So Don and I went to the kitchen to check if they needed any help there.
Waiting for kids
They did end up needing help but they only needed two people, so the others waited while we helped out in the kitchen.

A while later when the kids came back from school, some of them popped by to say hi to us and Kun Pim asked them to prepare some garlic and chillies.

Lots of omelettes

Playing around behind the class
A slightly older kid asked to play badminton with us while we were playing with the other kids.
Then at around 5:30pm or 6pm we left the gym to get the kids ready for dinner, we cleaned them up a little and got them to wash their hands and feet before eating.
Dinner with the kids
View behind the kids building, there's a football pitch here too
Then after playing around with the kids some more, we got them ready for bed by showering them as usual.
Then we winded down by watching tv with the kids so they would be ready for bed.
Then at around 7pm Mr and Mrs Moik came by to pick us up and we went for dinner at Pranees.
Long weekend ahead of us, the plan was going to be bamboo rafting, watching turtles, and waterfall on Saturday and going to see some nearby temples on Sunday.
Sita, her sister Bila, and their friend Mimi are coming with us on Saturday for the fun stuff, but not on Sunday because we think that they'd be bored out of their mind.
Looking forward to tomorrow.
